On a three week tour of Argentina, my friend and I had about a day and half in Buenos Aires and we wanted to make the most of it. We also went to the Carlos Gardel Tango show recommended by you. A tango show might be touristy but I thought this one was excellent. Many styles of tango were danced. The dances were interspersed with songs and it was a very entertaining show.

Dear Mayra: On a short stopover in Buenos Aires we had the best guided city walk you could ever have. The guide introduced us to the history, the politics and the beauty of the old city. That night it only got better when we went to a Tango show which included a great dinner, drinks and incredible dancing.
