Amalfi Capri 5 days and 4 nights FROM 01 APRIL TO 31 OCT 2012 DAILY
This is an interesting option for those who would like to have some days at leisure to explore Amalfi and Capri by your own and also some guided tours ( on day 1 ). The below tour include a group tour on the day 1 with lunch and guided tours as per the below schedule, then you will have some days at leisure.
1st DAY: Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Amalfi
Leaving Rome at 06.45 and travelling on the Autostrada del Sole, we drive through the Regions of Lazio and Campania. Arriving in Naples, short panoramic tour of the city including Mergellina, Castel dell'Ovo, Plebiscito Square, the Royal Palace, the Maschio Angioino and the Port. After a short visit to a Cameo and Coral factory, arrival in Pompeii. Visit of the ruins of this famous Roman city destroyed 79 A.D. by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. After lunch in a typical restaurant, continuation of our trip to Amalfi. Dinner and Overnight stay.
2nd DAY: Amalfi
Free time to discover the beauty of this wonderful coastal resort or to plunge into its limpid water. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.
3nd DAY: Amalfi, Sorrento, Capri
Breakfast at the hotel, the whole morning is at disposal of the participants. At 11.30 am approximately transfer to Sorrento, where we will embark for Capri. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
4th DAY: Capri
Free time to discover the beauty of this wonderful island, to plunge into the limpid water, or for an optional trip to the Blue Grotto. Overnight at the hotel.
5th DAY: Capri, Rome
Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning. Transfer to Naples early in the afternoon ( at 04.00 - 4.30 pm approximately ), where we shall start our trip back to Rome. Traffic permitting, 09.00 pm is the estimated time of arrival in Rome.
Important note : According to weather conditions instead of staying in Capri, pax will overnight in Amalfi or Sorrento.
