Day 1 - AIRPORT - SAN JOSE:
Transfer from the International Airport to a hotel in San José. Accommodation in Best Western
Irazú Hotel
Day 2 - SAN JOSE / TORTUGUERO:
Early morning departure from San José to Tortuguero. Today we will pass through the majestic
Braulio Carrillo National Park (sharing a wide variety of flora and fauna) until we get to the
plains on the Caribbean. On our tour to Tortuguero National Park, you will have the opportunity
to be familiarized with the whole process of one of our main export products: bananas, for we
will stop by briefly so you can take pictures and learn about banana plantation and collection.
While you are there, enjoy a delicious and typical Costa Rican breakfast.
Upon arrival to Caño Blanco dock, take a comfortable riverboat and enjoy an extraordinary and
exotic paradise while sailing through the Tortuguero Canals and admiring a countless and rich
variety of flora and fauna along the way.
Upon return to the hotel, enjoy a welcome cocktail and a delicious lunch in Laguna Lodge.
After lunch, we will go to the beach, to a local museum and to the little and picturesque town of
Tortuguero. At night, you will have dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. Accommodation in

Day 3 - TORTUGUERO:
Today, your naturalist tour guide will to take you on a boat ride to explore an intricate system of
natural canals. Then, you can walk through the nature trails in this National Park. In the
afternoon, we will visit the little town of Tortuguero, where you can admire local craftwork and
culture. All meals included. Accommodation in Laguna Lodge
Day 4 - TORTUGUERO / PUERTO VIEJO LIMON:
Breakfast at the hotel. Wake up early to enjoy this exotic area. On the way back to the landing
spot, you can continue admiring the variety of flora and fauna along the canals and rivers in
the national park. Ground transfer to the Southern Caribbean Coast, specifically to Puerto
Viejo in Limon, a land of great cultural wealth blessed with a very special environment. Enjoy
lunch on the way to Puerto Viejo. Accommodation in Suerre Caribe Hotel
For Car Rentals:
Once at Suerre Caribe Hotel, you will be given the ATV. Car rental includes daily insurance.
Credit card deposit required for escrow (US $1,000.00).
For Regular Transfers:
Our driver will be waiting for you to take you to the Southern Caribbean Coast.

Day 5 - PUERTO VIEJO LIMON:
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit some of the many tourist attractions in the Caribbean of Costa
Rica, such as Cahuita National Park and Gandoca Manzanillo Biological Reserve. You can
also practice snorkeling in crystal clear waters or enjoy white sand beaches. Accommodation
in Suerre Caribe Hotel
Day 6 - PUERTO VIEJO LIMON / ARENAL:
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will drive from the Atlantic Coast plains to the scenic
mountains of San Carlos, famous for its fertile grounds and foliage. Admire the spectacular
eruptions of Arenal Volcano -the most active volcano in Costa Rica- resembling fireworks at
night. Accommodation in Arena Manoa Hotel
Day 7 - ARENAL:
Breakfast at the Hotel. Free day to explore the area and take educational tours such as Arenal
National Park, Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge, Arenal Lake, and Hot Springs, among other
attractions. Accommodation in Arenal Manoa Hotel
Day 8 - ARENAL / MONTEVERDE:
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, we will head to Monteverde, famous for its world-renowned
Cloud Forest Biological Reserve. Accomodation in Heliconia Hotel
Day 9 - MONTEVERDE:
Breakfast at the hotel. You can enjoy local natural attractions including the worldwide famous
Monteverde Biological Reserve, Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve, Sky Walk, Bajos del Tigre
Trail, a canopy tour, a butterfly garden, an orchid garden, and a snake farm. In addition, you
can enjoy horseback riding, mountain biking, and ATV rental. Accommodation in Heliconia
Hotel.
Day 10 - MONTEVERDE / GUANACASTE:
Breakfast at the hotel. It is time to discover and enjoy white sand beaches in Guanacaste,
famous for their crystal clear waters and luxurious hotels. Guanacaste is the home of folklore
in Costa Rica and a world Mecca for sport fishing in Latin America. Accommodation in
Occidental Allegro Hotel (all inclusive)
Day 11- 13 - GUANACASTE:
Free day to enjoy hotel facilities and amenities or to visit some of the different tourist
attractions in Guanacaste, including a wide variety of secluded white sand beaches, Santa
Rosa National Park, Palo Verde National Park, Lomas de Barbudal Reserve, and Rincón de la
Vieja, Tenorio and Miravalles Volcanoes. Accommodation in Occidental Allegro Hotel (all inclusive)
Day 14 - GUANACASTE / SAN JOSE:
Return to San Jose. On this fascinating tour, we will pass by the Guanacaste Savannah and
go down the Central Mountain Range, admiring panoramic landscapes and picturesque towns.
Along the road, we will see a wide variety of attractions that will make this tour a one-day trip.

For Car Rentals:
You will be transferred from Occidental Allegro Hotel to Best Western Irazú Hotel, where you
will return the car you rented to the hotel and spend the last night in Costa Rica.
For Regular Transfers:
Our driver will be waiting for you at the lobby to transfer you from Occidental Allegro Hotel to
Best Western Irazú Hotel, where you will spend the last night in Costa Rica.
Day 15 - SAN JOSE / AIRPORT:
Transfer to the airport at the agreed time.
