The Ariaú Amazon Towers was inaugurated in 1987 and has 288 units: apartments, suites (located in the towers) and Tarzanºs Houses. Ariau towers are interlinked by a catwalk system of approximately 8 kilometers, at the height of treetops. The access to the hotel is made by a regional boat (2 hours), helicopter (15 minutes) or by fast boat (50 minutes). Among the facilities of the hotel there are: 2 swimming pools at the height of treetops, two observation towers of 41 meters (height),a panoramic auditorium with capacity for 450 people, fully equipped with audiovisual resources and a beautiful view of Rio Negro and the Amazon Forest; 2 restaurants, 01 bar and 01 cyber caf e. There is also a convenience store and souvenir shops. All units offer Queen size beds, mini-bar, fan, balcony and private bath. It is located thirty five (35) miles or sixty (60) kilometers in a Northwestern direction from Manaus. (Approximately 3hrs by riverboat from Manaus).

Itinerary :

1st Day 8am or 3pm -Pick up and Immediate Departure to Hotel Ariaú - 2 hours boat ride, Reception, Accommodation. Tours Included: Hotel Tour, Tour by motorized canoe and visit to natives' house. Meals Included: Lunch and Dinner.

2nd Day Tours Included: Jungle Hike, Piranha Fishing and Caiman Spotting. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

3rd Day Tours Included: Canoe Ride do Saint Thomas Village. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

4th Day Tours Included: Sun Rise Tour. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch. 8am or 2pm - Return to Manaus and Transfer to the Airport / Hotel in Manaus.

USEFUL NOTES :
Travel to Amazon and Pantanal, it is recommended that people bring with them common drugs as well as antihistamines, insect repellents, sun protectors, sun glasses, camera, batteries, long trousers, long sleeves T shirts, swimming suits, cotton socks, hat, tennis shoes/ boots, sandals, light clothes and jogging suits or fleeces. To Pantanal we also recommend binoculars.
The Brazilian National Agency for Sanitary Vigilance recommends Yellow fever vaccination for people who travel in areas endemic to Brazil: Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Distrito Federal (Brasilia), Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Rondínia, Roraima and Tocantins.
*There is no National or Reserva tax to pay in Amazon or Pantanal.
*For vegetarian food the additional cost, it will depend of the Lodge so please ask the requirement.
*Boat leaves from the pier in front of Tropical Manaus at 08:00am or 15:00pm (during summer time transfers are 08:00am and 14:00pm). So you can arrive in Manaus airport 2 hours before boat embark.
